My Rant

Ok, This is a rant about how I feel about certain things:

CSI - Awesome Show
CSI Miami - Not as good, David Carus is way overrated and not that good of an actor.

Law and Order, L&O SVU and L&O CI - All Awesome!! Vincent D. is the best. Jessie L. Martin is way underrated and Hello - HOT!! And like Ice T says anyone who likes SVU has a fucked up head.

Joan of Arcadia and Judging Amy - It maybe on channel 2 and seem like a "Lifetime" or "WE" show, But I don't give a Shit bc that's good TV.

Reality Shows - I'm sick of seeing Paris Hilton looking like a stupid, inappreciative, selfish whore!!What is she actually fucking helped ppl. When she went to these towns, which most were poor places, instead of laughing at them and being disrespectful towards them, maybe she should actually step in their shoes and she wouldn't find it so fucking funny.

The Reality shows that are good are Survivor and The Amazing Race. It's awesome watching ppl. being pushed farther then they ever thought they could go. The Bachelor - though this show has massive casualty signs of suckage I still like this show.

Talk Shows - Who fucking decides to give random ppl. talk shows? Jane Pauly - why does she have a show? bc she's Bi - polar? Tony Danza - What the fuck are these ppl. smoking? I mean Please!! When you look at Ellen and how effortless and awesomely funny she is or Oprah who's such a great interviewer or what a great humanitarian she is and how she helps so many ppl. even in the smallest way. it's make you want to ask who is sitting there saying, "ya know, Tony Danza would make a great host?!" WHAT!!!! and maybe Paris could stand to learn a thing or 2 from Oprah. The show Starting Over - I really think that it's a great opportunity for women to get help. It's a shame no one thought of this b4. Even though there are options around every corner - you just gotta look - it's good seeing ppl. try and help themselves. It makes you appreciate who and what you have in your life. Paris should take a few notes.

NBC - They need to put Scrubs on instead of Joey. I think they've given him enough time to prove himself and it's not loosen good. ER still Rocks, even with the revolving cast. I miss Friends.

ABC - is really doing great this year with Lost, Desperate Housewives and Life as We Know It. All very great shows, great scripts and strong casts with great twists.

24 - Fuck YAH!!!! I Can NOT wait for this show - being that I have never actually watched a show on TV with actual commercials, I'm gone lose it!!! and there's gone be a week wait for each episode - THIS SHOW IS GONNA KILL ME!!!! (I wrote this b4 I found out the Honey got us front row seats to see Keifer at times talk!!!! Fuck ya!!!)

that 70's show - though I don't really watch the show all that often, but it's a great show and it always make me laugh.

The Seinfeld DVD - it's finally hitting the shelves. The only thing I want to see are the Bloopers.

The OC - ok so maybe it's bc I've never seen an actual episode b4 only bits and pieces, but I'm now nervous that I told Honey I would watch it. She always steers me in the right direction for music - so I hope her TV knowledge is as good.

The next logical step from that would be to talk about music. but I'm going to talk about Movies and HOT MEN!!! I can not wait until "Alexander" comes out. Colin Farrell was on Jay Leno last night and Man is he one hot Mother Fucker!!! why can't they make real guys look like that? If I was ever near him I think my clothes would melt off. "Ray" what a great movie - if Jamie Foxx does not win the Golden Globe, the Oscar and Sag Awards the industry fuckin sucks!!! Movies I want to see even if some look dumb... The Incredibles, Saw, Birth, Closer, Alfie, Ocean's 12, Sideways, Lemony Snickets, Bridget Jones, National Treasure, Finding Neverland, The Aviator, The Grudge, The Forgotten, Enduring Love, The Machinist - And if I think of more I'll add them later.

Back to hot guys - I would see anything, i mean anything if it had....Jake gyllenhaal, Johny Depp, Matthew McConauhey (still hot) and Russell Crowe. Even though he's gotten fat and old - he's still hot. And once again colin Farrell is a Hot Hot Man.

Onto Music - I still Love Dave and the band. Like Honey says they are a part of who I am and will always be. But I've really been digging the music I've been listening to lately, partly I thank Honey for.

Let's start with Franz Ferdinand, they have such a great sound and they fuckin rock. I can not wait to see them live. Keane - what a great band - they remind me a little of Coldplay - but the lead singer has a much more angelicly, beautiful voice. He almost makes me cry. Damien Rice - Not only is he an amazing writer of words, he's an amazing musician and writer of music. It's so honest, dark, real, but it's not even of this world. When Damien and Lisa sing together it's transcendent and like nothing I've ever heard. Being at that Beacon concert (2nd best b-day present EVER) was like nothing I can even describe. The words just aren't enough. The fact that me and Honey met him and the band after the show just made the evening more perfectly indescribable. Magnet - All I can say is Thank you HONEY!! There are so many layers to this artist and he's awesome. So much like so many, but so much like himself. He's beyond great. Counting Crows - August and Everything After is a really great album. Even though it's from 95 or 96. Alanis - she was just on Letterman and you know what? She looked great and sounded really good. Matt Nathanson - I wish that he could redo Beneath These Fireworks with the band he has now. And it has nothing to do with Aben and the fact that I want him in the worst way. I do hope that Matt gets a better drummer though. Matt Rules in all his hottness. DMB - I need the new CD to come out already and need to see Dave. I miss him. Foo Fighters - I haven't seen them in a while - I would love to see them somewhere. Dave Grohl is awesome in concert.

I think I'm done with my rant. I needed to get that out of my system. So thanx for listening for those of you who have read this. If I have any more thoughts, my opinionated Ass will be back to write more.

Shitty weather

There isn't really much going on. I had many weird dreams last night. I was pregnant at one point and it was odd. I was also fighting with Joan (from Arcadia) bc her boyfriend Adam said he was in love with me. It was really weird. Last night I was working at a music show for Jesse Winchester - old folky singer. It was ok, but was talking to the food guy about stuff and we ended up talking almost the whole night and he wanted to know everything about me and the whole thing that happened. He's kinda hot even though he's married and has a kid. (Minor details) anyway, we ended it with that I wanted to go on tour, to be a chef, but I told him that I would do anything if I got to go on tour, but he actually said that he would ask around for me. He owns a restaurant in Englewood (a neighboring, very rich town), so who knows if he knows anyone? I'll see him in a month and we'll see if he actually asked around. But it was nice of him to offer.
Anyway, Shira called and left a message on my machine and said that she has been trying to reach me all week but the phone was busy, bc I was online. So maybe, I'll call her Sat. night. I really haven't been in the mood today to really call anyone.
That's really all, I know it's boring. ER was really sad last night. That's all she wrote.

The Stone Pony

Alrighty, where do I freakin begin? Shit!!! Alright, let's start out with that I wasn't even planning on going tonight. BUT THANK G-D I DID!!! ok, so I get to the stone pony and the bouncer dude told me that Matt was going on at 10 to 12, and I thought he meant he was going on at 11:50. But I was wrong, and so was he. Matt went on at 9:20. so the pony isn't a very big venue, so I was sitting on the stage for the whole show. It's bigger then the Wetlands but much smaller then Irving. It's a small stage so it wasn't really a big deal. But I took some pics that I hope come out really well. I was sitting right underneath Aben, but he was a bit of a grump (found out later bc Kerry didn't win) so he didn't notice me. Then about the 4th song in he was playing the keyboards and he looked down and saw me and smiled and was like hey, and waved. It was so cute. so then Matty said that he would be signing things after the show. so I knew that I was going to stay. I saw Aben after the show and I was thinking - should I wait until he comes over to me? and I was feeling nervous and then he was with some ppl. and I didn't want to intrude. but then I was thinking JUST DO IT!!! so I went over to him and he gave me a hug, and then went back to talking to his friends and they bought him a shot. so I was thinking, maybe Honey was right - I shouldn't have come and ruin what we had last time. so I walked over to the crowd where Matt was and I was thinking well at least I'll have Matt to cheer me up. So I went over to the merch table and where there wasn't really anyone there and Aben was there and he came over to me, and as we are about to talk John comes over and is like "Aben you have to clean up your stuff." So, I barely got to say anything to him, I told him about the tire and I was about to give him the cd's that Honey so generously burned for me. Then I thought better of it, and said "are you going to hang out after you clean up your stuff?" and he's like "ya" and I said "bc I want to hang out and I have something for you." and he's like "yes, cool." so he went to clean up his stuff and there were only a few ppl now waiting for Matty. so I asked one of the girls waiting to take a pic of me and him and she did. But it wasn't as good as 9:30, but I was like "you remember me from DC right?" and he looked at me and was so close to my face and was like "of course I do." He hugged me, like one of the best fucking hugs ever!! and then I was smiling so big, after the hug, and he scratched my shoulder and then I scratched his. It was so funny, he's awesome. so, I went outside to see Aben. and he was there with Jason and John loading up all their stuff. so Aben came over to me, and was like I'm so sorry about tonight. he was like I was being pulled in so many different directions. I was like it's ok, just as long as I get to talk to you now. so, John came over and we were all talking. so then I was like "I have to give you something." so I gave him the cd's and John thought that it was so awesome. then Aben started hopping up and down talking about the Stevie wonder (honey kindly gave him) and he was like that was awesome, I listened to it this morning and it put me in a better mood (about bush being pres). so that was awesome. so I took out my camera and asked John to take a pic of us and Aben grabbed me and wrapped both arms completely around me and I will KILL someone if that pic does not come out!!! Man he's hot!!! so then Matty Nay come out and we all start talking and Aben said my name for some reason and then Matt repeated it and then he said something about a Yedi!!! and I freaked out. I started telling him the whole Dave story - wait I remember what brought this up. bc during the show they started playing ants marching and matt was making fun of dave. so I said to him, what's the story with you dissing on my Dave. and it was all very funny. and that's when Aben said my name then matt said, then the whole Yedi thing. so, when I was telling matt about it he kept hi fiving me and touching me, it was awesome!!! then he was like when's your B-day and i said may 28th and he's like your a taurus? and I said no gemini. and he got really close to my face again and gave me a funny look and said my wife's a taurus. and I was like ok. so we talked for another litle while, he was making fun of Aben and I told him that I had a huge crush on Aben and he made fun of him again and then matt said something about his hair. and Aben looked at me and was like - do you see how they make fun of me. and I went over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist and he held the top of my hand, and I was fake yelling at them to leave aben alone. then I asked matt if he was prom king and I knew that didn't sound right and I turned to John and was like, what's that called, he was like you mean Prom Queen, I laughed and was like no the prom king (on the way home I figured out that it was called Home coming king). But Matt was like "NO" I was such a loser in High school and I was like how is that even possible? he's like you should see pics of me when I was on HS and I said well, I've seen you with the long hair and he was like oh, it's sooo much worse. so everyone was getting in the van, Aben was still talking to me and I was like, so you'll walk me to my car and he's like ya. so, we start walking and pass by the van and I said Bye matty nay, bye jason, bye john and they were all bye yetta. so I am walking with Aben and I said you have any of Damien Rice's stuff and he's like I never really heard his stuff and I was like WHAT and I said well, that's what I am giving you the next time I see you. and he said that he met Damien's girlfriend and I was like he has a girlfriend and he's like ya, and I was like do you mean Lisa and he's like ya, and I was like they're going out?!?! That's AWESOME!! (honey - they are doing it!!!) so we get to my car and I was like you want me to drive you to the van, and he's like ok. so it was only for a few seconds, but I had on the Damien, and he was like I'll def. let you know when we are going to be out on tour again. and he was so nice and was like drive carefully, don't blow out anymore tires, and we'll speak soon.
I was like ok. IT WAS AN AWESOME AWESOME NIGHT!!!! I am so glad that I went, and I can NOT wait to see my pics. I am totally in love with all of them!!! WHAT A GREAT FUCKING NIGHT!!! I only wish that I wasn't alone, but I'm glad that I remembered everything. I usually totally forget, I might even think of other things that happened. who knows? I jsut can't believe it!!

ok, so I went to MD and DC to see Honey. I had such a great time!! So, I get there and barely have time to change and then we all left to go see Matty Nay. We took the Metro and that was fun. It's a lot cleaner then any subway I've ever been on and the whole card thing was cool.
so, the show was INCREDIBLE!!!! They were all so on and it was great. Matty was so funny and Aben looked hot. After the show we were all waiting outside and I was keeping a look out for anyone and I saw Aben. So I called Honey over and we were just kinda standing there and she pushed me forward and he saw me and ame right over to me, he even stopped talking to some girl just to talk to me. We talked for a bit, took the pic (above) and he was really sweet. We waited for Matty Nay and he was great!!! he just rocks!!! so then I said goodbye to Aben and he was like "when am I going to see you again?" and I was like "I don't know, I'm not going to any other shows" and he looked all sad and hot. He said and I think Honey said, that they were playing at the stone pony and I told him that I would try.
so, anyway - the next day was sooo much fun. We played Life and Patrick and I played cards. Some where in there we went to lunch and went looking for Kosher chicken which we totally found. While Honey was making an awesome dinner I took a nap - I was all high on the Benadryl. then we had dinner and that was awesome and we just hung out.
the next day we woke, well I, woke up late and it was a slow day. That's the best kind. Honey's mom took everyone out to eat and then we went to see Ray, which Honey's mom also treated us to. Which was awesome!!! Just read Honey's blogger about it.
then when I was going home I could tell that there was something wrong with my car. I didn't know what, but I could feel it. I said to myself, please G-D if something happens to the car, please just let it happen in Jersey. So I was on the Turnpike making great time, and right after Exit 2 on the Turnpike I heard a huge noise and realized the front tire totally blew out. In the carnage I realized that there was a dangling cable. It turned out that the tire part that was now sticking out grabbed onto the cable for the hood and totally broke it. Thank goodness I am fine, thank G-D for AAA and for my mom's cell phone.
so, I got home and I am going to write another blogger right after this.
