Where'd my tv go?

So it was my birthday the other day. And it was ok. Nothing earth shattering happened, I didn’t meet Dave or Damien. My friends weren’t really with me. Shira came over on sat. Night and stayed for a while to hang out and that’s really it. I did get AWESOME presents from Honey, Shira, Rochi and my brother.

Shira gave me a collage of pics of me and her, with stickers all over that said Best friend. And there was a quote from Dave on it and it was really nice and very thoughtful of her. I know she’s crazy and probably spent way too much time on it.

Rochi got me a little bag that has a plush kitty in it. And it said Best friends on the outside. She said that way I won’t miss my cats while I’m at work. Which I do, I didn’t bring it in yet, I have a pic of the cats licking each other on my desk. I don’t want some grubby kid touching it.

My brother gave me cash, and the dog gave me a pic of him with his tongue hanging out and a party hat on. It was in a really nice frame. They also gave the family a old mini food processor, and a foam maker, so when Honey comes over, I can make her something with foam and coffee. Or something…..

Miriam gave me 3 e-cards, which were really cute and funny. There was one that actually was sweet about 2 best friends that met in high school and have their very own tv show. Which I always thought would be great if we had that. She also mailed me 2 regular cards, one was cute, the other pissed me off. She better have presents for me when I go there for the holiday!! (Shavuot)

My mom got me an ice cream cake and the next day made me a steak dinner and that was Delicious!!!

Now for the best part…. Honey got me the best stuff. First was the cute sharpie, which for everyone who knows me, totally comes in handy. Then there was the Cowboys and Indians Magazine with Kiefer on the COVER and DADAMN!! What a hot man. And to continue with the Kiefer theme, she gave me 2 VHS Kiefer movies, which one was awful the other was alright, but it had a really hot sex scene in it, but Kiefer didn’t finish (if you catch my meaning), and I totally watched that like a gagillion times. Then she also gave me a DVD of Kiefer, and that was a really weird movie. But the best was the HUGE Jack Bauer Poster of 24. That was amazing!!!! I love it!!! Then there was the Franz Ferdinand shirt which I have moved into and soon it’ll be walking on its own. I should really put it in the wash. Then to my surprise there was the last gift. I love to color, so this gift was amazing!! She gave me Barbie Fashion Plates (where you can pick and choose the outfits and then color them). That was an awesome gift bc she knows how much I love that stuff!!! Then she wrote a beautiful card for me.

This really sucks that all my shows are over and there is nothing to watch. I’ve seen Harry Potter like a million times already and I finished the first book already. And that’s quick also considering that I was reading while there was good tv still on. I can’t wait to read the next bunches.

OK – So this weekend is the EXTRAVAGANZA of concerts!!! I am so looking forward to spending time with Honey and seeing these AWESOME bands!! Spoon, The Killers and Keane!! I totally can not wait!!

I have to get back to work now.

U2 was Astounding

THAT'S MR. THE EDGE TO YOU – MY ANGEL

This is my blog!!! I haven’t had anything to really write home about the past couple of weeks. BUT LET ME TELL YOU….. i do know. :) I was so excited to have Honey, April and Patrick for a sleepover, but what was truly ASTOUNDING, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE – there just aren’t enough words – was the legendary, the Iotolas of Rock – n – rollas, U fucking 2!!! But lets back it up.

I had to go to work that day, but that was alright. Then when I came home my ppl. were here waiting with open arms. Then Honey gave me some of my birthday presents, not all, ‘cause I want to wait for my b-day. But I can tell already that they are going to be awesome!! The first thing was the “cowboys and Indians” magazine with KIEFER on the cover – he’s such the hot man, and awesome sharpies that can go on my key chain. This morning I thought I lost the pink one and then I found it outside. Then I was leaving work and looked on my keys and I was missing the green one; that I did not find.

So then, we decided to go for sushi and I got that Godzilla roll and was stuffed to the brim. Man, that’s good sushi!! Then we were about to go home and we decided to go to the CARWASH and get the car cleaned. It was gross. But that place is fun and then we went home to get my mom’s car and we decided to take her car to the CARWASH. That was even funnier bc the guy was smiling at us bc we came back in a different car. Then off to the show we went after we also filled the car with gas.

So somehow we ended up parking in section 21-C, which is right next to the parking area where all the famous ppl. go in. We were waiting there for U2 and I totally thought it was going to happen, but it didn’t. We did see Elvis Costello though – eh. So then we went in to the venue and Honey bought us ALL shirts – I’m wearing mine now.

Then we find our seats and switched seats with this couple so we could sit next to the pattynay and april. Then the bono came out with the edge and the rest of the band. They played so awesome and the lights on the EGG were beautiful and it felt a bit like Tron – the movie. They played for about 3 hours and they were INCREDIBLE!!! They brought 4 ppl. up on stage and 3 were in a band, it was awesome!!! I was so jealous. I need to be in the EGG!!! And as you can see for yourselves, the Edge is one HOT man!!!

Then after the show we went to a diner and ate, we were hungry. Then we went home and watched LOST which totally freaked me out and was touching all at the same time. I love that freakin show. It was awesome and there was really hot Man crying by Jack Shepard played by one Matthew Fox. And then there was hot naked man by Sawyer, who’s real name is JAMES, last name is debatable, it’s either Ford or Fohr (four). That show is just too damn good, but not as good as 24!! That Kiefer Sutherland is seriously the hottest man in the world. I always liked him, but now that I am totally obsessed with 24, he is so much hotter then I ever realized.

So then this morning we went to brunch, and I ate too much, as usual. I almost forgot, b4 we left, honey gave me another present to open and it was TONS of cd’s and Muse’s DVD!!! I watched the first song Hysteria – which is my favorite. And included was the Dave show at Roseland which I sadly missed bc I wasn’t willing to pay $295 for ONE ticket :( But at least I now have it on CD, and they played all the greats. 41, 2step, WH, The stone, Jimi Thing, One sweet world, Everyday and ants marching. Then they did the awesome new ones. Hello Again, Dream Girl, Louisana Bayou and some other great stuff. You can totally tell how excited Dave is to be there and how happy the whole band is. Everyone is singing along to every song and it was awesome and I sooo wish that I was there. Then my ppl. left and it was sad, then I watched tv for a bit and went to work early. Which was good, the place was a mess. I don’t know what he would do without me? It’s a good thing I went early, he wasn’t even there, so I was able to get my work done without being bothered.

I am on the phone right now with Honey right now and she is still trying to find out Sawyers name. And we are laughing about stuff.

I saw on Access Hollywood a blurb about Rent, the movie and I am totally looking forward to that movie, and I got a phone call from Miriam reserving me in advance to watch that movie with her. I gladly accepting her reservation and I really am looking forward to it.

Per the request of Honey – House is one of the best written shows on TV. Hugh Laurie is remarkable and the way the show went this past week was stellar. They really know how to write for this show. When fox get s a good show they really luck out. 24, house, American idol. Unlike other networks fox does not have any mediocre television, they have amazing shows or total time sucking awful shows – which is the majority of their shows. I think the ones listed above are the only good ones.

Right now on the tv is World’s worst Idol Auditions. We shall see if it’s funny, WOW these ppl. really suck!!

I also wish that we could go see a U2 show with the MattyNay. That would be insane!! He would be freaking out with us and I would love to jump with him. I would love to see his smile during a U2 show. YUMMY!!!

Alright I think now this is def. the longest blogger I have ever written.

Honey - Thanks for the AWESOME, HOT pic of Mr. The Edge for my blog. I also want to thank you for all my awesome gifts so far, the mag. Of Kiefer is the best. The Cd’s and DVD are PERFECT and the sharpies were a great idea too!! Thank you for the U2 and the shirt, I love everything and I love you!! I can not wait until June, that’s so soon – that’s awesome.

The Sleepover countdown Begins!!

ONE MORE WEEK!!! I am SOOOO excited for the sleepover at my house, with my peeps!! AND U2!!! I am totally excited. I had such an exhausting day yesterday. I woke up at 7am to catch DMB on the Today Show. I was actually thinking of going there in the morning and thank the Lord I did not!! DMB wasn’t even there. They had done the interview the day before and had taken a sound check performance from Roseland as the Today’s Show performance, of American Baby. Then I had a very full day of work and I changed the Radio Station on the overhead to WPLJ so I could listen and try to win tickets to see DMB do storytellers, they were looking for caller 25 and I was 23!!! I was SOOO close, but yet so far.

In other news – on Honey’s blogger there is a section called “um okay” and it’s too funny. I think she should Kiefer dating a 23 year old icelandick model. That’s CRAZY!!

I’m listening to Spoon right now and the killers just came on the radio. I am totally looking forward to those shows too!! I CANNOT WAIT!!

I think that Joan of Arcadia should be in a movie with the Wonderfalls girl as her older sister – that would make a good movie.

I think this will be it for my blog – nothing is really happening. I totally stressing out about trying to get storytellers. I WANT IT SOOOO BAD!!

Starting Over has some Good Lessons

Last night I had a dream that I brought Muffin to work with me and she was freaking out. But I made her a little bed in the file cabinet and she liked it. She was really sweet in my dream.

The main reason I am writing this blogger is for the following. I was watching “Starting Over” last night and it was a special about L-O-V-E. And I was really watching bc they had on ppl. that had graduated and I wanted to see what’s going on with them. I fast forwarded most of it. Then they said just bc you are single doesn’t mean that you should not be included in this show. And they said everyone wants to be lovable and have unconditional love, respect and trust with others. And even though it was a small statement and it was a cheesy show, I felt lucky in that moment.

I know that I am truly loved by my friends and family. I know a lot of ppl. that think they are so unlovable and they display that in many ways. But to let everyone know if you know me and are friends with me I probably love you. NOW – for the ppl. that love me: these are the ppl. that love me completely unconditionally and these are the ppl. that respect me and these ppl. I would trust with my life. Some ppl. are not as lucky as I am to have these ppl. in my life, and a friendship with one miss honey, has really shown me that I am loved with all the above listings and for more reasons. Deep inside me I always knew that Miriam loved me and Rochi and on the good day Shira – but meeting honey has really changed me. She is always there for me and she keeps my feet on the ground when I need them to be and I don’t see it. It made sound like I am obsessed with Honey, I mean the truth is I am obsessed with all my friends, especially the ones that love me so much. I was on the phone with Miriam and she was asking me for advice and in that moment, I think for the first time, I actually realized that Miriam respected me and I have to tell you that it’s a great feeling.

Having Honey as a friend has shown me that I need to expect more from the ppl. that say they love me and I have been. Since I know that honey is most likely the only one to read this – I just wanted to thank you for being you and being amazing. I don’t know where I would be without you. And I hope that I treat you as good or better then you treat me, you deserve only the best!!! I love you

Onto “LOST” – Holy crap this show is AMAZING!! I cannot believe Locke admitted to knocking Sayid out. And the whole Sayid story was unbelievable. WOW – what a great show!! He was on that plain, really by accident. If my theory is right, about that everyone on that plane was SUPPOSED to be on that flight, So maybe Sayid was not supposed be on that plane. Bc he was supposed to be on an earlier flight. It’s very interesting!! And the fact that the baby loves Sawyer’s voice is too funny. Next week’s episode with that little kid – He’s got some weird, weird powers!! It’s gonna be a good one. I don’t know why Patty Nay doesn’t like it.

Alias – that was sad last night. It’s a good show, I just always feel lost when I’m watching it.

24 – oh man!! I can not say enough good things about this show. The last minute and 49 seconds of that show was the most amazing thing in the world. Kiefer is amazing and he needs to win more things, he totally deserves it. What a hot man.

DMB – I have decided that I am not going to pursue tix for that Roseland show. And I feel much better about my decision. It’s sad, but you know what I don’t need to go. I am seeing them in July and I am going to some great shows this summer with Honey. So I know it’s better not to go. I need to save my money.

The Killers – I have decided that we are going to loose a ton of weight at this show bc there is going to be a ton of jumping up and down. I am really looking forward to this one.

Spoon – I am very excited but I am only going to know one album from this show. But it’s still gonna be awesome!! At the 9:30 baby – we better get our balcony spot!!

U2 – This is going to be major extravaganza hooplaness!! And I CANNOT WAIT!! And it includes one sleepover at Yetta’s with the PattyNay and the April and the Honey. It also includes a trip to my favorite Sushi place!! I am really looking forward to seeing how HOT the edge is in person and I am going to try to get BONO to meet the honey.

The Buble – I might have to embarrass Honey and tell the buble it’s her b-day and she would love a song. Haahaa that would be awesome!! That would really make me happy.

I think this should be a big enough blogger for now. Tony Almeda is also a hot man, he was on Carson Daly and he’s a really snappy dresser. And Chabib Marwan is devilishly handsome and I wish he would smile more. He was on Charlie Rose talking about his homeland of South Africa and it was amazing. I think he and Dave should get together, they probably would have tons to talk about.
