Holy Best of Both Musical Worlds Batman = Dave on Dave Love

This is a dream come true for me, if only I was there in person. The 2 men that I love the most in the world are finally together on one stage. Thank you to C for putting this on your blog first and for sending me a hot pic. Thank you to Honey for calling this morning, waking me up and telling me this awesome news and for sending me more pics.

I have been obsessed with Dave Matthews for more then 12 years. I have been to 32 of his shows and have had the privilege of meeting him 4 times. This man has been a part of my life for a very long time. When I was sick, my brother put his poster in my room in the icu of the hospital, I started to get a little better after that. There is nothing that I don't love about him. Edge (my other dave) has been a new obsession for me. I think I fell in love with him when I was 2 feet away from him in DC, which was only this past October, but since that time, I haven't been able to think or talk about anything except him. As you saw in my last blog he's my #1 hot man. Dave isn't far behind at a very close #2. I have talked to Honey about maybe one day would it be possible for Dave to play with U2 or for Edge to play with Dave Matthews Band. We were both doubtful... Bless my soul the day has finally come.

All I can do is post every single pic that I have found (rather that others have sent ot me). It is for my enjoyment and yours. Also, if you go to either Honey or c's blog you can watch the one song, "Smooth Rider" they did together in 2 parts.

Ya, we love each other

Edge: Not too shabby Dave
Dave: Well, you know...

They're going in for the kiss!!! It looks like it's gonna be openmouth... haaaahaaaa

Look at Dave looking at Edge. I think he's just as in much in love with him as I am!!!

YA, I'M THE MAN!!!

I look as cool as bono in these shades

Edge with New Birth Brass Band... look how hot he is

The end all be all pic of the week... the shirt, the beanie, the glasses and that smile!!! Could anything be better!?!?!

My Eyes are Open

This the new Snow Patrol Album that I can NOT stop listening to. Every single song on it is so good. I know that they opened up for U2 in Europe (those lucky bastards... Europe not Snow Patrol... they're just lucky) and I really think that they took some notes. This album is so good that it has inspired me to actually write a blog. I am really excited that I am going to be seeing them at the end of may. I shall call it my birthday show, even though it's 2 days later. It's going to be such a great show. I think I should start listening to their first album. I don't even think that this album has been released yet. Gary Lightbody has such a great voice. It's not what I would expect him to sound like. But it's really good. I was very suprised, in a bad way that Rolling Stone did not like the new Single, "Hands Open." Not only did they say that "embarrassing Name Dropping" was used but they said Gary mispronounced Sufjan Stevens name, (Which he totally DID NOT) they went on to say: "Despite that bid for hipster cred, the song finds Snow Patrol pumping up their indie-pop sound with overmuscled guitar riffs to the point where they now resemble a Brit Nickelback." I think that whoever wrote this review OBVIOUSLY was not listening clearly. If they could listen to the full album I am sure that their opinion would change. Sometimes I hate Rolling Stone. But sometimes I don't...

BC they also had a short blurb about Coldplay's Chris Martin and Johnny Buckland got into Wayne Coyne's truck and went around Oklahoma City with him. He showed them around to some weird things. I would have loved to have been in that truck... but at the end of the blurb it says: "why are we telling you all this? Bc we're obsessed with the Lips' At War With the Mystics - If you don't have it, go but the shit! they have redeemed themselves for now.

In other news that no one cares about: I got my warehouse package today, finally! It took them so long to get this out. This is the dave matthews band fan association. It came with a cool pen that has a light in it and it's a really nice pen. and it came with a refill ink thing. It also came with a pic of the band on stage and a cd with songs from live shows:
1. The song that Jane Likes: MSG
2. Captain: UMB Pavillion, MO
3. Rhyme and Reason: MSG
4. Jimi Thing: Randalls Island, NY
5. Help Myself: Jouranl Pavillion, NM
6. Busted Stuff: Lakewood Amphitheater, GA
7. Mother Father: PAC Bell Park, CA
8. Angel: Meadows Music Theater, CT
I look forward to listening to these songs.

Thanks to Honey for my beautiful card and the awesome stamp of Animal. The coolest puppet ever.

C-look at my comment of my last post. I really want details to that edge story. MAN ALIVE... I will meet him one day, I will, I will!!!

KT is going to be on Letterman and Regis next week and she's not having a show anywhere and that's upsetting. I registered on her boards to find the truth... how can she not have a show?

I had a really weird dream last night... I was on SNL with honey, we were the hosts and they didn't give us a script and there was no musical guest. They said since we were writers that we should be able to put a routine together... LIVE!! so we started to talk and we were not making anyone laugh. I saw a doll house with all these weird figures in it, so I start imitating all these ppl. and then everyone started to laugh. I started to walk around and I saw Chris Martin and he was with Gwenyth and she looked fat. It was kinda funny. He was all chummy with me. It was weird.

that's all she wrote....

I feel the need to share...

I was reading C's blog and reading the comments and someone said that the best show they were never at was the "Slane Castle: u2 show." That gave me an idea to give you a short list of the best shows I think I should have been at. Then I was thinking of some other lists that I have revised and what not. Then I wanted to mention some other little tidbits. So enjoy!

I ordered and recieved my "Music Rising" T-shirt. It's really for a good cause and how can I turn down the Edge? There is no way, so thank goodness the shirt was ONLY $30. I love that man... maybe too much. But it's a really great shirt, and it's soft.

That new Keane song, "Is it any Wonder" is SOOOO AMAZING!!! It's filled with an aggression and urgency that was not on their last album. I loved their last album and was worried about the next one. This song makes me completely confident that they are going to put something absolutely amazing out. Even if it TOTALLY evokes the edge... even if they are using synthesizers and not actual guitars. It just shows that they love Mr. Evans as well. And that's Hot!!!

On General Hospital, Rick Springfield, has been back for some time now. So they thought it would be a good idea for him to perform at the day time EMMY'S!!!! HAAHAA.. oh that's just too funny. On All My Children, Dixie's back and the SHIT is gonna hit that fan and it's gonna be good. I have been watching ABC soaps on and off (mostly on) since I ahve been in the 7th grade, so since I was 12. Shit... that's 15 fuckin years. WOW!!! that's too long...

So I have changed some HOT men lists. I ahve seperated it one, list just for ot music men and one for other men.

Hot Music Men
5. Alex Kapranos

4. Matt Nathanson

3. Tom Oliver Chaplin

2. Dave Matthews

1. Dave "The Edge" Evans (I will meet this man!!!)

Hot Other Men
5. Michael Vartan
4. Lee Pace
3. Vincent D'onofrio
2. Bradley Cooper
1. Kiefer Sutherland

The crazy thing is that I have met 4 out of 5 of the guys on my music list, and 2 out of 5 of the Other men list. Who would have thunk it?

The reason why I started this blog entry was to tell you the greatest concerts (that happened while I was alive) that I should have been at:

5. Franz Ferdinand opening for U2 (somewhere in Europe... those lucky bastards!)
4. Radiohead at Glastonbury (again... Europe... :(... I want to go there)
3. Muse at Glastonbury (again... fuckin' Europe... damn them to hell)
2. Slane Castle U2 both shows (I know some would think this would be #1, but when I think about not being at this concert, it doesn't make me angry that I wasn't there bc I wasn't into them then. But I would love to go there no if they had another one... and again IRELAND, the mother ship!!!)
1. Dave Matthews Band at Roseland Ballroom in 2006 - I, plain and simple, just should have been at this show and that's final!!! Not being at this show makes me think violent thoughts!!!

I think that concludes this blog. Until next time....

Eleanor in the Rain

I'll get to why the title of this blog is what it is... later. All in good time.

The Passover Holiday is almost over. It's been pretty good. I had a lost of fun at the second Seder and the food was really good. The first Seder I did at home with my grandmother and that was very nice as well. It felt a bit lonely... but it was still nice. It's been a very tiresome holiday... having to clean and cook and use the special pans and dishes... it makes me pooped! That's why I deserved that FRANZ FERDINAND SHOW!!!

what a great night. What a great show!!! So I drove into the city and found free parking on 29th and 8th... which was really great. I was early so I walked around a bit and I bought a ring. A really bit sparkling ring. Pictured here...

Then I went to meet Honey and we put the stuff in the car. I called my step sister Jen and we decided to meet up and sit in starbucks. She works in the city and I'm always saying that I should call her when I come in and I never do... so I decided to do that. It was fun sitting in Starbucks with Honey and Jen just talking about tv and movies and some music. Jen and I are very alike in the way we watch and remember movies. we both got very excited bc we both took this pop culture test through VH1. It was so funny that we both took it. we laughed a lot and it was the first time I ever got together with Jen outside the family circle.

It was raining on and off all day, so we found this quaint little cafe type place and they had seating upstairs. I had all my Passover Jew food, which was funny and honey had her food. We called Robyn to tell her to meet us there and she did. We talked about Robyn's plans for the summer and next semester. We talked about "other" things and it was really fun. We decided that it was time to head over to the venue being that it was almost 6 o'clock and we hadn't picked up the tickets and we had no idea when the show started.

We get there and the line is the length of the avenue and it was a little insane. The line started moving at 6:30. Robyn tried to get the tickets but the doors were closed, even for the will call tickets. But as soon as I saw a dude that worked for the venue and the line started moving I asked where we go for will call tickets and we totally cut the line and he put us in front and we went inside. We went to the window and they said that if we were on a bands list then it would be like another 15min. Which was a drag... but it didn't matter bc we didn't have to pay for these tickets at all. So we waited and saw this lady drop off an envelope at the side window. I asked that same lady when the band tickets would be ready and she said that it would be another few minutes. Then she told me the time of all the acts... The Cribs would go on at 7:30pm... Death Cab for Cutie would be going on at 8:20... Franz Ferdinand would go on at 9:55. It was going to be a great show. While I was talking to her, Robyn went and our tickets were ready. She was on the list for the Cribs.

We went to get our tickets scanned and the lady said make sure the seating person sees the red star on your ticket, it means special seating. We went up one level of the mezzanine and the lady had no idea what we were talking about. And I was like well someone needs to tell us bc there weren't that many available seats left. so I talked to like 4 other people until finally someone knew and she put us right in the first row so no one was in front of us. It was really awesome. We got ourselves situated and talked for a bit. The Cribs went on and at first Honey and I kinda liked them... then they played there next song and they weren't so good anymore. The drummer was fun... I enjoyed him.

Then there was a long intermission and time to pee in shifts. Death Cab came on... in my opinion I just thought they were alright. There were like 3 or 4 songs that I liked. But the last song I thought was brilliant. It was a great song... reminded me of Radiohead. I said to Honey that if all there songs were like that I could get on board with that. And she said that all of Sigur Ros, songs are like that and that made me excited to start listening to them. I did like the set up they had on stage with the trees and the houses.

Then there was another long intermission and I watched them undo the whole thing... it was kinda cool. Then the moment finally arrived and Franz came charging onto the stage with "This Boy." No one in our section was really dancing, so I didn't get up yet. It was killing me not too. My whole body was shaking. I couldn't take it anymore. "Do you want to" started and I jumped up and I started to really freak out. I jumped up and down for like a good 5 minutes, and that's a really long time for me. It was an amazing show. Every single song was so great. I danced and jumped all over through the whole set. "The Outsiders" was incredible. When Andrew and a rodie get on the drums with Paul it's mind blowing. I've seen it before and it NEVER gets old!! At one point Alex just jumped right into the audience!!! It was crazy. Then he climbed the right stack of speakers!! It was such a fantastic show.

Robyn was feeling really overwhelmed and tired so she headed home. Honey got an awesome Vinyl of Franz and a Death Cab t-shirt. I tried to get a set list but they were all gone. :(

Honey and I headed outside to the stage door to wait with about 30 other people for a band... Franz for me!!! We met these 2 crazy girls from Staten Island. they were friends and one of the girls parents took them to the show and waited with them until 1:30 AM!!! It was so awesome of them. Where do I start?

We were waiting for some time, but having fun. Then Bob Hardy came out. The bass player from Franz Ferdinand. He's so sweet and gentle. I told him that the show was amazing and asked him to sign our stuff and take pics. One down...

Some time later Andrew Knowles (he's plays several instruments for franz and is the drummer for the fiery furnaces) he was so HOT!!! He has this amazing hair cut and he's so cute!! Honey said that it was awesome how he plays everything. and he said it's bc he's greedy. It was cute. He signed out stuff and took pics.

There was no real commission or anything and I barely even noticed him. But Nick McCarthy came out and he was signing things. He was amazingly sweet and again had such a gentle side to him. I told him that their music makes me crazy and just makes me want to dance and move around. Honey said that it makes her insane. He thought it was so sweet that we thought that. I told him that I thought that everyone was so down to earth and sweet. And honey was like but on stage you guys are insane. He was really very cute.

Paul Thompson came out next and he went to put his stuff in the bus then came and talked to us. He came and signed our stuff and took pictures with him. Honey told him that we worship him and he was like, you don't have to do that. And I told him that he reminded me of Animal but in the best possible way bc he I do worship him. but he's so crazy on the drums and he thought it was cute. He's also so gentle and sweet.

The crowd dissipated and there were only about 10 people left. There was a dude standing there and I say to honey, "isn't that guy from death cab?" And she was like ya... it was Nick Harmer, the bass player!! He was very cute. Honey was like your awesome. And we took some pics with him.

The crowd was down to me and Honey and the 2 Staten Island girls. It was 1:30 at this point and the girls mom was like we are going and that's final . So they left and me and honey were left alone. The only people that were around were roadies and other types. There was a chair by the stage door, so I went to sit on it. All the buses were still there. Honey and I made a time packed of when they shut the lights off in the venue or when the buses drove off. We watched with much amusement the "ballet of the roadies." All this shit fit into this truck and it was really interesting to watch. Everything had a rightful place.

It was about 2:30 when I thought I saw the lead singer from death cab, but when I was getting up to check, I saw Nick from Franz across the street. So I made a b-line for Nick. He was talking to his wife, who I am sure is normally very nice, I mean it was late and maybe she wasn't in a good mood or something, but she was a bit icy. She walked away and Nick turned toward me. I said hello to him and said that I had already met him earlier and he was like ya I remember seeing you. And I was like I was just wondering if he knew when Alex was coming. I told him that I felt like Alex was our "Moby Dick" our "Everest" or "the one that got away." He told me that he went to "dinner" with some friends and should be back soon. He said that he can't promise anything, and he doesn't want to ask me, but he pretty much told me that I should just wait for him and he would be along soon. I pointed to Honey and then waved her across the street and was like that's my shy friend. When Honey came over we ended up talking to him for like 5 minutes. It was so awesome. We were having an actual regular conversation. He was so sweet and slightly drunk. Honey asked him a really great question and we also told him that we were at their MSG show and that it was so great. Honey said that his wife was waving him in, which I didn't really see. but I think if she wasn't there he probably would have talked to us for a really long time. He was so hot.

Bob and Andy came out of the venue at the same time and Bob waved to us. And Andy came over and gave us both high fives, it was really weird but cute. We were waiting for a bit, but we just had a feeling that everything was going to go down as it should... and it did.

It was 2:50 and Honey says to me, "Is that Alex on the corner with a girl?" I look far ahead of me and I am thinking that it is him. (This following part of the story is why my blog is called Eleanor in the Rain). It was Alex and a lady in a very stylish, (I think Yellow or tan) big collared, tailored, retro looking raincoat. Alex embraced her and you could tell he was holding on tight. Even from as far away as we were. They kissed and said goodbye. Honey and I were completely silent not believing what we had just seen. We knew we were not meant to have seen it... but we did and it was beautiful. It was a private, quiet moment between lovers saying goodbye. It was really quite sad. I think Honey spoke first and said, "did you see that?" and all i could say was "uh huh." I couldn't believe it.

I saw him coming, I said to Honey "he's coming... and he's wearing the pants!" (he was wearing these amazing pants at our show and he was still wearing them. They were tight and striped and he looked HOT!) He was walking towards us but didn't really look at us. He was looking sad and staring at the tour bus. He really looked like he stepped right out of a movie. Wearing his leather jacket, like he was in "rebel without a cause." It was almost 3 in the morning in the New York streets, no one was around and he was just walking, alone. There should have been mist coming from somewhere bc it was like a dream. As he came closer he saw that we were waiting for him. He came right over to us and asked if we were waiting this whole time for him and we said yes. He couldn't believe it. We were like we know it's late but can you sign this and can you take a pic with us. And he was like of course. So incredibly sweet. We told him that it was a great show and we had such a great time. I told him that the moment they came on the stage I couldn't stop dancing. I said that I can feel their music in my bones. He was happy to hear it and said that this was his favorite show in NYC they have ever done. I was like, that's cool. I asked him if I could have a hug and he was like of course. It was so sweet. Honey asked for a hug and he gave her one too. We were so grateful and said thank you. He headed back to the bus. I couldn't move for a second and Honey grabbed my arm to start walking to the car. I started to cry. I couldn't even believe that i was crying. Until Honey was like, "Are you crying?" And I wiped my tears away and sniffled. "Ya, I can't help it. He makes me so happy." I just couldn't believe it. He was so incredibly kind, sweet and yes I am going to say it again, GENTLE!!! I think I really love Alex Kapranos. He's amazing. (Honey told me later that Alex looked back at us and was grinning... that's good stuff right there).

What an amazing band. What a great bunch of guys. I remember someone telling me once that they are really sweet boys. And she couldn't have been more correct. They really are just amazing. I definitely wasn't expecting the reaction I had from meeting Alex. I was sort of shocked, but I was just so happy.

THANK YOU ROBYN FOR GETTING THESE TICKETS AND TAKING ME!!!

The rest of the weekend was really nice with Honey. We went to the mall and I did some errands. We did a lot of cooking and we went to see my mom. She was really happy to see Honey and we took her outside. It was so nice out. I'm glad you came up for the show Honey and I'm glad you actually like Matzah. Thanks for helping with my errands, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for being HARDCORE like me and sticking it out till 3am!!! Quitters never prosper :)

Honey and I rented "History of Violence," which was a pretty decent film. But what was amazing was the sex scenes in the movie. It was all kinds of Viggo Hottness!!! MAN ALIVE.... DAMN... It was good!

Here are some last minute addition pics of the Matty Nay show and Matty Nay with me. I just got the pictures and wanted to share them with everyone. I love him... he's too sweet.

THE LEGEND OF MATTY NAY LIVES!!

I know this isn't from my show, but it's the only picture that I have of MattyNay on my computer.

I am re-in love with one Matt Nathanson. He is without a doubt one of the kindest, most sincere, sweetest people I have EVER met in my life. I know some pretty fantastic people and even though I “technically” don’t “know” MattyNay, I love him like I love anyone of my real friends. The most amazing thing was last night I was able to tell him that and I know he knows that I totally love him.

But lets start at the beginning.

So, I was totally being lazy yesterday afternoon and was procrastinating the whole day. Then Honey calls and is telling me that she is IMing with someone who has an extra ticket to the second show for the MattyNay. I only had tickets to the first show and I really wanted, scratch that, I NEEDED to go to that second show. So Honey was the broker in the ticket transaction. So, I jaunted off to the city around 5:30ish and found parking almost right away on W4th, which was pretty close and very free (always exciting). It was really early and there was plenty of time, being that the doors opened at 9pm for the first show. I walked around for a while. I hit the Tower Records, just to browse. There wasn’t really anything there of interest. I looked at the “Q Magazine” and they made me laugh. I walked past the venue and there were already 5 people waiting. It was only a bit past six. I recognized one girl on line from other Matt shows but I have never talked to her. It was still really early, so I went to get some pizza and a refreshing Snapple. It was actually really good pizza. After that I chatted with Honey then went to wait on line for the MattyShnay!!!

It was all the same people that were when I had passed the first time. So I started chatting with them. The girl that is (I think) at every east coast show of Matt, who I have recognized from other shows was there and we started to talk with her friend Alla, who was very nice, she was into punk bands and had just gotten a chin piercing earlier in the day. She let me look at the inside of her mouth to see what it looks like. It was all very cool and they were both really nice. We talked about other bands and music boards and things like that. I didn’t really feel like telling them any of my stories about anything, but they were really nice. I also talked to this brother and sister and they were cute, young and funny. They love Matt, even the guy. I mostly talked to Alla. It was about 8:15ish and Chris came, he was the guy with my extra ticket, there were a lot of people on line at this point and I asked the two girls behind me if they didn’t mind letting Chris skootch in, and they were cool about it. Also, Chris was recording both shows, so I totally cannot wait until they are posted.

We were all standing in line, underneath the Joe’s Pub awning and MattyNay totally walked by and said hi to some people. He saw the brother and sister and he was like, hey I feel like I always see you guys. The sister was so happy and the brother was totally in love. We waited a bit more and then we were let in. I didn’t have a reservation so I was told to go sit on couches. They were these huge big cushy couches and I sat right in front of where Matt would be and it was cool. I ended up sitting next to the girls that were behind me on line and they were cool. So the waitress comes over to us and lets us know that there is a $12 min. per person. And I was like what? What? What? The girl next to me told me that there was nothing on the website about it. So I called Honey and asked her to go to the website and look that up for me. She read straight from the website and it said only people who are sitting at the tables with reservations have the minimum. That’s it, no one else. So, I called the waitress over and told her that and she was pissed and Tori (the girl next to me) added on that it should be changed to the correct rule. She was like “Fine, whatever” and walked away. Looked like we won that war.

Then the show started and out came MattyNay. He started with one of my favorites, “Church Clothes.” He was amazing! With every song he just became more unbelievably amazing. All his new songs were incredible. He played “car crash” which was a phenomenal song. I even think he got a bit choked up at one point in the song. It was all kinds of Hot!! The new songs had so much aggression in them it was so great. He really got into the songs and he was sweating so much. He also was so funny. He said he was sweating like he was a crack whore going through detox, and if he starts scratching himself all over to just ignore him. He was just amazing. The audience was also really great; quiet when they should be and laughed when they should; screamed when it was called for. I really felt that Matt was really so vulnerable and felt EVERYTHING that was happening, like he was really, really in the moment. He was so appreciative of everything, of all of us there, all of us knowing the words. It was a really great show. The last song he played was “little victories” with an outro to “America.” He came to the front of the stage and left his microphone and unplugged the guitar and everyone was singing, it almost brought me to tears.

For the second show, we were told that we could stay where we were and they would come around and tear our tickets. When they did that I went to the bathroom, so I could have totally stayed without paying. Eh, what are you gonna do? The waitress saw that we were staying again and we saw her go over to the hostess and she came over and talked to us. We explained to her the whole thing, and told her that we don’t mind getting something, we just didn’t think that it was fair bc nothing was posted on the website, the confirmation for the tickets or on the tickets. And she said that should would talk to the manager to have it changed, I also said that it’s ridiculous to spend more then $30 on food and drinks if you are staying for both shows, plus the money for the tickets. And she was like your right, but made us get soft drinks anyway. Which is fine bc I was really thirsty, in all I spent $5 and a $2 tip. Then I also bought Matt’s new cd and since there was no change I bought 5 stickers, I kept 2 and gave the other three to the girls I was sitting with.

Blu Sanders came out and he was pretty good. Sort of cute, he reminded me of my friend Ben. He tried to make some jokes, but it didn’t really work, bc he’s no MattyNay.

It was hard to believe but the second show was better then the first. He came out around 11:45ish and played until 1:30am!!! That’s a really long show for being completely by yourself. He was so good. I think he only really played 2 or 3 of the same songs from the first show. When he said that he was going to do one more song, everyone was like, “NO, OH COME ON!!” so he was like, “oh my G-D” and he played 3 more songs and it was completely amazing. He was so tired and he said he was but we totally lifted him up so he could play that last song and it was beautiful. I overheard some guy next to me, lean in and tell his sister and brother -n-law that he totally has a huge Man crush on Matt. EVEN MEN LOVE HIM!!

After the show, I went over with EVERYONE bc he said that he would be signing cd’s and things. And I was with Cherylann (not sure how to spell that) and Alla again and asking Alla if she could take a pic of me and Matt and she said she would. I think I was making her really nervous, then one of Matt’s dude’s came and told Matt that we only had like 5 min. and there were still like 20 or more ppl waiting. I felt like I was under a lot of pressure. I had a whole list of things that I wanted to tell him and thank goodness I really got through all the important points. I was talking so fast, but he was really listening to me. We had such good eye contact and everything. He kept hugging me and squeezing my arms and it was AMAZING!!! He was sopping wet, but it totally didn’t matter. I love being in his arms and he was so completely adorable. My heart was full and I wanted to make sure he understood that.

First – I gave him honey’s letter that she had written to him on his myspace page. I told him that it was from Honey, the girl that always gives you dvd’s and shows and stuff. And he was like, ya, Honey’s awesome. So I told him that she wrote this letter for you and e-mailed it to you but wasn’t really sure if you read that, so I told her to print it out and I would give it to you. I said, Please MattyNay read it. When I read it I almost cried, bc it says all things that we feel for you and hope for you and I would read it. He was like sweet, I will and he put it in his front pocket.

Second – I gave him my small black sharpie bc he liked it.

Third – The rest of this was a blur bc it was sooooo quick. I was talking so fast, it was like I had a shot of espresso right to my heart. I showed him the list of things that I wanted to tell him, but I didn’t think that there would be enough time bc there was a short time limit. He was like, don’t worry it’s not going to be the last we see each other. Somewhere along there we took a picture, then there was more hugging. I asked him for 2 picks (one for me and one for Honey), but he gave me his last one (it’s no guitar, but it’ll do). Then I told him that I got into the ellipse with Honey at a U2 show and I was 2 feet away from the Edge and I said, I know that your wife loves the edge too. And he was so excited listening to me and I said there are so many U2 things that I wanted to talk to him about and he was like, I could talk about u2 all night. I wish that I could do that with him. I told him that we always wish that we could go to a U2 show with him bc it would be so much fun. And he was like, aw and i got another hug. I kept telling him that I just completely love him, and that we talk about him all the time, like he’s one of us, like he’s our friend. I said we know you really aren’t but we love you and we think your amazing. He just kept hugging me over and over. It was so hot of him. He kept rubbing my arms and shoulders and it was too cute. Then I added that I think all his new songs are completely amazing and I love them and I am so looking forward to his next album. As he was walking over to this other pack of people to talk he reached out his arm and it landed right on my arm and he was squeezing, squeezing, squeezing and making cutie noises.

My heart is full and it’s bc of this amazing man.

Thank you to Honey for staying up with me as I drove home. I felt like a yippie dog when I was on the phone with honey, bc I was walking and it was cold. Mostly, bc I was so happy.

Thank you so much Matt…. I love you and think that you and your music are incredible. I was really moved last night, watching you. Thank you!!!

Last but not least – SECTION 100 ROW H BABY!!! For DMB!!!! Thank you again for Honey’s fast computer and Honey please kiss it for me. Let’s see what the WH gives me, I try to promise that I won’t get mad.

Next up Franz Ferdinand and Death Cab. That should really be a great show since the tickets were for free and since I love Franz!!! Then I believe Snow Patrol after that for my “birthday show”. It won’t be directly on my birthday, but close enough.

Passover is two days away and I feel the stress is much less, bc I know I am prepared. On mom news, a doctor looked at her finger today and they want to have a surgical consult. I think they are going to have to take the tip off that one finger. It’s gangrenous and it doesn’t look very good. But I’m glad they want to do something about it, and I’m glad that I made the doctor look at it.

Thank you again to Matt. You are so amazing!!! I hope that my pics come out and when and if they do I will put them up.

ps – I still love edge!!! And FINALLY have had 2 dreams about him… at long last. I am going to add 4 hot pics of him, as good measure.
